Questions about choosing a wedding photo app

Answers based on the providers’ public websites as of 19 August 2026.

It depends on what matters most to you. For the disposable-camera effect, POV Camera or Lense. For unlimited uploads, pix.wedding. For recorded guest book messages, GuestPix. For EU storage, one price regardless of guest count, password protection and AI search for photos, Snapveil.

All six providers in this comparison let guests upload from the phone’s browser after scanning a QR code. With POV Camera the host needs the app; with Snapveil neither guests nor host install anything.

Snapveil, Lense, GuestPix, Kululu and pix.wedding state that guests upload without an account. POV Camera does not say so on its public pages.

All six charge once per event. POV Camera and Lense set the price by guest count, while GuestPix, Kululu and pix.wedding sell several packages. Snapveil charges one fixed price per plan with unlimited guests: free for 250 photos, €29.90 for Pro and €59.90 for Ultra.

Snapveil runs its server in Germany and stores photos in the EU. Lense states EU/EEA hosting, and GuestPix offers several regions including Germany and the Netherlands. POV Camera hosts in the United States, Kululu’s own pages contradict each other on this, and pix.wedding does not state a location.

All six offer a live slideshow or projector view. Snapveil’s live photo wall shows photos only, in spotlight, mosaic or slideshow view, and is included from Pro.

Snapveil (from Pro) and GuestPix offer password protection. pix.wedding explicitly advertises that its albums have no password. POV Camera, Lense and Kululu do not mention it on their public pages.
