Have it printed larger
A print shop will output the A3 PDF at a larger size on request. On heavy paper or foam board the sign needs no frame.
Put it at eye level
An easel, or a frame on a bar table, puts the sign where it gets read. On the floor it is overlooked.
Leave room to scan
On A3 the code is a good 5 cm wide and scans from about half a metre. Place the sign so guests can step close.
