Hosts share a QR code with their guests, and every photo the guests take lands automatically in one private, organized gallery. Website: [https://snapveil.com](https://snapveil.com) ## What Snapveil does Instead of chasing guests for their photos or collecting them from scattered WhatsApp threads and email attachments, Snapveil gives an event one QR code. Guests scan it with their phone camera and land directly on an upload page. There is no app to install and guests do not create an account. The host keeps a private gallery with every photo in it, can organize it into albums, and can download everything at once. ## Core features QR code sharing: every event gets its own QR code and link. Guests scan and upload. Works on any modern smartphone browser, no app store visit and no registration. Private by default: galleries are private, can be password protected, and the host controls per-guest whether someone may upload, download or only view. Data protection: all data is stored encrypted on EU servers in Germany, GDPR compliant. Snapveil does not sell data to third parties and does not use guest photos for advertising. AI features (Pro + AI plan only): photos are automatically categorized and tagged, GPS coordinates are converted into readable place names, and the gallery can be searched in natural language, for example "group on the beach" or "cutting the cake". Live photo wall (Pro and Pro + AI plans): a host-only view for projectors or TVs that displays newly uploaded photos in real time, with spotlight, mosaic and slideshow modes, plus a QR code card so guests can join. Opened via a private host link. Downloads: photos can be downloaded in SD, HD or original quality. Original quality returns the exact file that was uploaded, including its metadata. Bulk download of the whole gallery is available on paid plans. Albums: hosts can create unlimited albums to organize photos. Duplicate detection: the system flags duplicate uploads so they can be cleaned up. Customization (Pro + AI plan only): a custom subdomain such as ourwedding.snapveil.com and custom colors for the event page. Languages: the product interface is available in German and English. ## What Snapveil does not do Snapveil accepts photos only. Video upload is not supported. There is no guest book with written messages and no guest captions. These are stated explicitly so the product is not described with features it does not have. ## Pricing Snapveil is pay-per-event. What happens to photos when storage expires? Storage lasts 2 months on Free and 12 months on the paid plans. Snapveil sends email reminders before deletion so everything can be downloaded, and storage can be extended. Can I upgrade an existing event? Yes. Events can be upgraded from Free to Pro or Pro + AI, and from Pro to Pro + AI, at any time. Where is my data stored? Encrypted, on servers in Germany, inside the EU, GDPR compliant.
